Sorry, no. I have been stuck in the middle grade reading level for a year now... Plus, I have never read Harry Potter, so my goal was to read all seven books before Half Blood Prince come out in the theater. I think I will reach my goal. I am on page 200 of the Half Blood Prince now. So I have read books 1 - almost 6 in 7 months. I'm a bit of a slow reader, as I read at night before bed. So sometimes I can't read more than a few pages without falling asleep. But I am breezing through Half Blood Prince - so far my favorite of all.
Yeah I'm really loving book 6. But I can't tell if it is also because it is the only book I am reading before seeing in the movies. I am wondering how much of leaving it all up to my own imagination is coming into play here.
I have a list of books to read that is a mile long. The Kite Runner, A Thousand Splendid Suns, The Other Boleyn Girl, and now I'll have to add Breaking Dawn, not to mention your book PJ's and Danette's (and now Danette will have two more!!!) I've got years of reading ahead of me.
I'm a mom and writer whose debut novel, EVERLASTING will be published by Scholastic Press in 2010. I blog for fun, for friendship, and to meet other writers of children's literature.

I love Harry Potter, and my favorite was a tie between Prisoner of Azkaban and Half Blood Prince. I also read before bed, so I'm the same as you!
